To keep our creativity flowing at NFD we like to keep an eye on the best exhibitions available. We're recommending these amazing exhibitions to explore throughout the year: 

THE ICONS OF THE BRITISH FASHION WORLD

Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire is hosting an exhibition devoted to icons of the British fashion world. Icons like Stella McCartney, Barbour and Vivienne Westwood are to be featured.The exhibition celebrates fashion past and present and each room is dedicated to a different designer. You can visit the display from 23rd March to 30th June 2024.

FASHION CITY: HOW JEWISH LONDONERS SHAPED GLOBAL STYLE

 

Take a step inside a traditional tailor's workshop in the East End and immerse yourself in the glamour of a Carnaby Street at the height of the 60s. This exhibition will uncover and highlight the major contribution of Jewish designers in making London an iconic fashion capitol. Discover more about the stories behind the Jewish fashion industry leaders through photographs, objects and textiles. This exhibition is on now and will be on display until 14th April 2024.

BARBIE: THE EXHIBITION

If you haven't had your fill of Barbiemania yet, then celebrate the Barbie brands 65th anniversary at the Design Museum. The exhibition explores the evolution of Barbie through design, including fashion, architecture, furniture and car design. The Design Museum has even been granted access to the California archives for the occasion which means there will be dozens of rare and unique items on display. The exhibition starts on the 5th July 2024 and ends on the 23rd February 2025.
